Junior Program

GRADES 1–8

The Rowmark Junior Program fosters a lifelong appreciation for alpine skiing and racing in a fun, positive learning environment tailor-made for young athletes.

Open to Rowland Hall students in grades 1–8 (ages 6–13), the Rowmark Junior Program introduces developing skiers to the discipline and joy of alpine racing in a positive, supportive environment. The program works in harmony with Rowland Hall’s academic curriculum, allowing skiers to pursue both their academic and ski-racing goals.

Our athletic development pipeline provides a clear progression of training and competition, fostering confidence, resilience, and independence. By the time they complete the Junior Program, athletes emerge as stronger skiers, fully prepared to apply to Rowmark’s Academy program or another top-level racing program.

Program Focus

The Rowmark Junior Program is not a learn-to-ski program, but a program for young racers interested in athletic growth. Serving as a developmental pathway to the elite Rowmark Ski Academy, the Junior Program’s curriculum is high-level and consistent with the Academy, but always age-appropriate.
