Matt Brown
Matt returned to Rowmark in 2020 after kicking off his coaching career here under the wing of founder Olle Larson. Prior to Matt’s return, he developed successful programs in Sun Valley, ID, and Park City, UT, and most recently served as the executive director of the Summit Ski Team.
The longtime skier gained his passion for the sport as a young athlete on the slopes of Mount Hood, outside Hood River, OR. After high school, he attended the College of Idaho, where he was part of two national championship teams. Now, as a coach, his focus has been helping young athletes master the fundamentals they need to take their ski-racing careers to the next level.
Matt lives in Park City with his wife, Anne. They have two adult children who are both former ski racers. When he’s not skiing or thinking about skiing, you can find him enjoying the Utah outdoors, often on his road bike or mountain bike.
