Sean Sullivan
Sean was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He grew up racing at Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, Vermont and attended Okemo Mountain School for three years. He then attended Carrabassett Valley Academy in Sugarloaf, Maine for the final two years of high school, graduating from CVA in 2016. As a U19 athlete with CVA, Sean had a FIS profile of 52 points in Slalom and 70 in GS. His most notable finish coming in Canadian U18 nationals in 2016, where he placed 5th in the slalom. These accomplishments helped him attain the honor of MVP for the U19 mens team his senior season. Upon graduation, he was offered a spot on the Division 1 Plymouth State University Ski Team in Plymouth, New Hampshire. After a short stint at Plymouth, Sean decided to pursue a career in coaching. He spent two seasons coaching at Eldora Mountain in Colorado as an assistant U16 coach and was promoted to Head U14 coach the following year. That year four of his U14 athletes qualified for U14 Rocky/Central regionals, the most ever by an Eldora squad. In 2019, Sean decided to return to CVA to coach the U16 team. During his time coaching in Carrabassett Sean acquired his Level 100 USSS coaching certification. After taking some years to explore other career options, Sean is extremely excited to be back doing what he loves most. Sean is ecstatic to join the Rowmark coaching staff and build the next generation of students into the best people and athletes they can be.
