Rowmark Coach Profile

Joey joined Rowmark Ski Academy in 2024 as the U10 Head Coach, bringing his passion and love for skiing to inspire young athletes to learn and thrive. Originally from Edina, MN, Joey attended Colby College in Maine, where he joined the Marine Corps in 2004 and was commissioned as an officer in 2006. He served as an infantry officer until 2016 before transitioning to leadership roles at Amazon, Target, and Tesla. Currently, Joey is the CEO of EnergiSpot, a Utah-based electric vehicle manufacturing company. He previously coached at Team Palisades Tahoe as the lead U10 Far West coach.

As a coach, Joey embodies the U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s core values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork, fostering a supportive environment that promotes skill development, resilience, and a lifelong love for the sport. Aligned with Rowmark’s values of integrity, respect, inclusion, and purpose, Joey empowers his athletes to pursue excellence while balancing academics and athletics. As a proud parent of three Rowmark skiers, he is deeply committed to the program’s mission of developing well-rounded student-athletes who thrive on and off the mountain.
