Mikelle Moore Named Chair of the Board

Rowland Hall’s Board of Trustees has named Mikelle Moore chair of the board, effective July 1, 2026. Mikelle succeeds Jennifer Price-Wallin.

Mikelle joined Rowland Hall’s board on July 1, 2024. A nationally recognized health executive, Mikelle is the co-creator of Multiplier Advisors, a strategy advisor to the Healthcare Anchor Network, a fellow at Health Evolution, and an executive in residence at the Health Management Academy and the Scottsdale Institute. Prior to these roles, Mikelle held several positions at Intermountain Health: senior vice president, chief community health officer, president of the Intermountain Community Care Foundation, and the first female CEO of the system’s flagship hospital.

Mikelle and her husband are the proud parents of four children, including Rowland Hall alumna Ainsley Moore ’25 and current student Jameson Moore (12th), and a pet therapy sheepadoodle.

Rowland Hall Welcomes Three New Trustees

A heartfelt welcome to the three newest members of the Board of Trustees. These volunteers began their service on July 1, 2026.

Thane Gilmour

Originally from the United Kingdom, Thane Gilmour spent 10 years teaching and leading a school before moving into executive coaching and global business leadership. He holds an MA in psychological coaching from the Metanoia Institute in London and a PhD in quantum physics from the University of Oxford. Thane has led teams at VMware, Amazon Web Services, and Check Point Software Technologies, where he currently works in cybersecurity.

Thane believes education should help young people develop not only capability, but character, curiosity, and presence. He values the opportunity to support education and, as a Rowland Hall parent, to give back to a community that has enriched his family’s life. His most important aspiration remains to bring a clear mind, a warm heart, and an open presence.

Thane and his wife, Jade Curtis, live in Park City and are grateful parents to their son, Cree (11th).

Deepthi Lakshman

Deepthi Lakshman has over two decades of experience in technology operations and executive leadership. She spent over 18 years at Microsoft Corporation, last serving as director of business operations for their cloud business. Following Microsoft, Deepthi was chief of staff for Capital Group.

A dedicated advocate for mentorship, Deepthi has a long history of empowering the next generation through programs such as DigiGirlz and Microsoft’s student hackathon. Since relocating to Salt Lake City in 2025, she’s applied this passion to Rowland Hall’s Home & School Association where, as a room parent and community builder, she’s been instrumental in coordinating major campus events, including the Lower School Multicultural Fair, with a focus on fostering an inclusive, connected environment for families.

Deepthi earned a bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India and a master of science in systems and industrial engineering from the University of Arizona. She and her husband, Lakshmanan, are the parents of Pallavi (7th) and Anjali (5th). In her free time, Deepthi enjoys reading, hiking, planning travel, and hosting gatherings for friends and family.

Jenny Wilson

Jenny Wilson is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She later received a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. Jenny’s educational background, combined with her deep roots in Utah, has shaped her longstanding commitment to public service, community leadership, and civic engagement.

Jenny currently serves as mayor of Salt Lake County, leading Utah’s most populous county and overseeing a broad range of public services for more than one million residents. Prior to her election as mayor in 2019, she was the first woman elected to the Salt Lake County Council, where she served for a decade. Her diverse career also includes serving as a Washington, DC–based chief of staff to a congressman, holding a leadership role for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, and working with organizations including Sundance, Voices for Utah Children, and the Moran Eye Center.

Jenny and her husband, Trell Rohovit, are the parents of two Rowland Hall Lifers: Zach ’20 and Max ’24.
